A twenty-year veteran of Asia, John Possman is cofounder of the digital media : entertainment : technology companies 247 Inc in Tokyo and DFR Asia in Shanghai. Through strategic investment, innovative deal structure and partnerships, and world-best technology, his companies are helping clients and partners to transform the future of digital media and entertainment in Asia.
John most recently served from 1997-2000 as Vice President of EMI Music Inc. and was EMI's senior representative at the Japanese joint venture Toshiba-EMI, Inc. From 1995 to 1997 he lead International Marketing for EMI Music Asia based in Hong Kong after starting his career at Sony Music Japan.
