Born in 1960 in Tokyo, Japan.
Graduated from Belmont University (then Belmont College) in Nashville, TN in USA in 1986 with BA in Commercial Music.
Joined Sony Music Publishing Japan (then CBS/Sony Songs) in 1986.
Joined Avex in 1994. In 1996 became a board director.
Currently Managing Director of Avex Group Holdings Inc., in charge of International Strategy and Intellectual Property Strategy.
Currently also Director of JASRAC (Japanese Society For Rights OfAuthors, Composers and Publishers), and Executive Director of MPAJ(Music Publishers Association of Japan). |
