Peter is recognized as a pioneering leader of the India Television industry and since 2007 has been responsible for the vision and strategic direction of INX Media.
He joined News Corporation in1993 as Advertising – Sales Director (India) and soon rose to lead Star TV India. As Chief Executive he played a pivotal role in relaunching STAR Plus in Hindi and guiding it to become India’s Number 1 channel. Peter was responsible for the launch of several channels and distribution platforms such as TATA SKY in India during his tenure at STAR – many of which are leaders in their genre today.
He presided over STARS’s expansion and diversification and turn to profitability in India.
